A Nordic breed As white as snow,
With eyes that melt your heart-
That Eskimo Dog Looked up at me,
And charmed me from the start.
Intelligent and devoted-
Always there to please-
A dog that's quick to understand,
And learn new things with ease.
Sharing life's adventures,
Or resting at my feet-
This Eskimo Dog is a blessing
That makes my life complete.

The American Eskimo dog is highly excitable and a fierce defender of children and the home. It was bred to keep the children warm and safe and its silky fur was spun into yarn for blankets and clothing
